L&R PRODUCE

We grow 4 acres of vegetables using sustainable methods. Most of our vegetables are grown dry-land, meaning that we do not deplete precious groundwater resources, or use electricity to power water pumps. We compost the manure from our poultry and turn it into our fields as a natural fertilizer. In addition, we utilize crop rotation and cover cropping to prevent erosion and nutrient depletion of our soil.  We also make use of grassed strips to slow soil erosion. Our specialty is being able to offer you a wide variety of delicious, fresh root crops including red, russet, and Yukon gold potatoes, yellow and red onions, carrots, beets, rutabagas, radishes, turnips, horseradish, butternut, buttercup, and kabocha squash, and sugar pie pumpkins.  If you are a Produce Manager or Chef looking for the finest roots to offer in your Coop or Grocery, or Restaurant, look no further! We have what you're looking for at L&R Produce.  All of our roots are offered in bulk, bagged, and bunched options to best suit your sales needs.
